Prophet gives their Summer Associates true responsibility and ownership over their work. The environment is challenging, yet fun and supportive. I enjoyed the opportunity to travel and have real client interaction as an intern.
What I wish was different
I wish the training was more in-depth.
Advice
Don't be afraid to voice your opinions and ideas. They want to hear from you! Also, projects move very quickly, so take a few minutes before diving into work to align expectations with your manager and ask questions.

I had a lot of autonomy in my role to make decisions and impact decision making.

I went into it with very little training and did not know what to expect. I wish there was a little more preparation.
Advice
Take charge. They want to hear your opinions and what you think. You will need to take initiative in this role.

What I liked
I did the same work as associates and was given a lot of trust and responsibility, which I valued as someone who enjoys learning tasks by doing. The culture was "just corporate enough" and the employees were smart, fun, and driven.
What I wish was different
Felt on many days that we had too many meetings, but perhaps this is merely the nature of consulting work.
Advice
Ask your managers upfront for their expectations of your work, incl. deadlines and quality and length, etc. The role of an intern is to make your manager's life easier!
