What I liked
I loved the environment I worked in. Everyone was very nice and understanding and had a desire to care for the patients. The motto of Providence is "Know me, care for me, ease my way." They also have core values that they look for in all of their employees. The hospital took health care to a new level and it was cool to see what happens behind the scenes.
What I wish was different
The hours were rough. Providence is a hospital, and patients are coming in 24/7, so it was hard to get on a regular schedule since the hours were variable. I wished there were more opportunities to leave the office.
Advice
It was very hard for me to sit in an office all day and not be able to enjoy the weather, or even look outside when it was nice and sunny. If you have a job that makes you sedentary and it is not your favorite, try to become friends with your coworkers. The people you work with can make an awful job seem not so bad.
