I liked the freedom to be able to learn whatever I wanted from the company because I interned at Corporate HQ. The departments that I could get more experience includes Real Estate, Consumer Lending, Card Services, etc.
What I wish was different
I wish that I spent more time understanding the terminology and how they were calculated in the company, because I didn't want my work to have no meaning in the end.
Advice
I would suggest to be open to all options and choices at Corporate. You don't necessarily have to intern in the department related to your major to gain experience!

There was no relation to marketing in this experience. It was a lot of a busy work so I wish this was not the case.

Ask for more work and experience in the field you are interested in.
