What I liked

I enjoyed the structure of this internship. The onboarding process ensured interns had the necessary knowledge to complete their duties, but they also allowed a high level of autonomy throughout the day. Also, they provided us numerous opportunities to network and learn more about product management through executives and other speakers.

What I wish was different

I wish we had gotten to spend more time! The internship was an 8-week long process, although I would've been willing to spend 10 or even 12 weeks to learn more about product management, different consulting industries, and have more time devoted to our end project.

Advice

Always ask questions and don't be afraid to network with anyone! Everyone is very willing to discuss their jobs and respective industries. It also shows your genuine curiosity and ambition for this role!

Software Engineering Intern

What I liked

The other interns were cool and fun people who were really smart and easy to work with. The project was good exposure to full-stack development.

What I wish was different

The first 4 weeks are a coding boot camp (starting from the very basic level of CS) and it was entirely virtual but you still had to be in the office 5 days a week to sit on zoom for 8 hours. The person leading the internship was also not very knowledgeable about the details regarding training and the project also definitely picked favorites and treated us like children.
