The Shipyard accomplishes over 2 million man-days of work at a cost of over $2 billion dollars a year in maintenance and repair of the Navy’s submarine force and carrier fleet. Our Business and Strategic Planning Department are responsible for planning, scheduling, workload forecasting, financial projections and fiscal accounting of all the work to be accomplished at the shipyard.
A portion of the work requires travel to many places around the world with the majority of the travel being in San Diego California and Yokosuka Japan. A uniquely rewarding experience.
