What I liked

Over the summer I was able to get hands on experience at the Michigan Central Station. I was able to gain experience a multitude of project related tasks and develop skills in problem solving, data analysis, planning, interdisciplinary communication, scheduling, and safety culture.

What I wish was different

Although, I played a part in some major work items throughout the duration of the summer, I wish I had been able to be a part of the start-up and close-out process.

Advice

Be open to different opportunities. Pullman allows you to gain experience all the areas you desire, bidding/estimation, project management, safety management, or construction management. There are many career paths you can learn about if you're open to new opportunity.
