I liked the real world hands on experience of an in house legal department that coordinated with the various other departments within the firm. I enjoyed the diversity of work that ranged from drafting loan documents to assisting in revisions of long-standing firm policies through interactions with various brokerage firms.
What I wish was different
I would have preferred to work full time.
Advice
Be prepared to be uncomfortable in the beginning, shifting from undergraduate coursework to real world experience can be difficult but as long as you persist these responsibilities become second nature.
