This is such a cool and unique place to work! The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the park is beautiful. I truly loved being out and about in the park more than anything.

What I liked
The park is awesome. It is such a cool place to come to work every day. The staff make it so enjoyable on top of that. I really liked that they wanted all the interns to have a meaningful working and learning experience.

To be honest I can't think of anything that I would've like to see done differently. I truly enjoyed every bit of my experience working here.
Advice
Do not be afraid to ask questions and share your thoughts and ideas. You are apart of the team and all the Supervisors and staff value what you have to say and want you to be successful in your time here and after.

The work environment and fellow staff are so incredibly kind and hardworking! They really make you feel like you are a part of the team and ensure that you are comfortable asking for help when needed.

What I liked
Gabi Roach, my supervisor, was very invested in making my experience enjoyable for me and making sure I was connected to PH despite being remote because of Covid.
What I wish was different
Being remote in this position was obviously not ideal.
Advice
Ongoing and honest communication with supervisors is always important (as is with any organization/position)!

What I liked
I loved how welcoming and friendly everyone is and being given multiple tasks that included jobs in different locations in the office, around the park, and around Hamilton so that the internship isn't so stagnate. I have been given multiple opportunities to learn and grow to develop my skills for a future career.
What I wish was different
As of right now, nothing. It has been a great experience. This internship has given me a variety of different things to learn.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions. Everyone is super nice and helpful and being uncomfortable to ask a question quickly passes because everyone is very eager to help.

Don't be afraid to ask for tasks related to your studies! If you want to work in social media, tell them! Staff will work with you to make it happen.
