What I liked
Getting to spend time in the most beautiful parts of Montana, miles of open field surrounded by mountains and water. The land just makes you feel at peace. It really is the Montana Experience
What I wish was different
I loved that job so much, I miss it daily. I only wish I could have had more time there and I look forward to going back in the winter
Advice
Take it all in. Sometimes I will just stare at the land around me and realize that I don’t have a care in the world. I’m truly at peace.

Management and the company as a whole were unethical in dealing with employee issues and unprofessional when conducting business.
Advice
The pay is great but the work environment is unpleasant.

What I liked
Great opportunity to work with horses while also being paid for it. It was like having my hobby as a job.
What I wish was different
The hours towards the end of the summer were a lot. I was working close to 65 hour weeks at some points which was exhausting and I wouldn’t want to work this much next summer.
Advice
Be friendly and reassuring to your guests and establish a level of trust with them early on so they don’t worry about the horses and are able to enjoy the adventure.
