Started by MIT Alumni in 2010, Rev has raised capital from top tier Silicon Valley VC’s. Rev currently has offices in San Francisco, CA, and Austin, TX. Rev's mission is to create great work from home jobs, powered by AI. We pride ourselves on enabling individuals who want or need a flexible job to work whenever and wherever they can and feel like they belong to a community of collaborative freelancers.
Today, we offer four services, and we will launch more in the next few years. Our initial offerings are audio transcription, video captions and subtitles, and document translation. What the verticals have in common is the work can be done anywhere, and software can transform them via marketplace methods, productivity improvements, and machine learning. By developing cutting edge technology in-house, Rev is able to provide its marketplace of professional freelancers the tools they need to output highly accurate work in a short amount of time.
