I loved working at RVR. They have such a professional culture and work ethic. It is easy to see why they take pride in all that they do with excellence. Best summer of my life!!

Working as a camp counselor is exhausting. You are working 24/7 and almost never really get a break. While it is exhausting it is well worth it!

I wish I could have spent more time there!
Advice
Working here will push you out of your comfort zone, and grow you as a leader and person. Learning to live with others under high stress and understanding yourself in the scope of discomfort is incredibly powerful.

I loved the community and dedication at RVR to quality, Christ-centered experiences, both in the barn and in other activities.
What I wish was different
I would have appreciated a little more flexibility in free--time, since our barn work schedule was fairly rigorous.
Advice
This job is not for the faint-hearted or for those unwilling to work hard, but it is incredibly rewarding and will teach you as much as you are willing to learn.
