I enjoyed the hands-on work environment. I was out on the production floor, observing and learning from the manufacturing engineers every day.
What I wish was different
I am an electrical engineering major, so I wish I had more interaction with electrical-based projects.
Advice
Be open and eager to work. Projects can come from anyone and they will not hesitate to give you more projects when you are running low.

Sales Engineer
May - September 2019 • Dubai, Emirate of Dubai
What I liked
I had a very professional environment to work in.
I was surrounded by people of multiple nationalities each with unique set of skills. Majority of my time after the first month was spent on fields doing partner and consultant meetings along with my manager who is the Regional Head of Sales in the Building Technology Department.
I enjoyed every opportunity I got and made really good contacts out in the corporate world.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to work there for a longer period of time; I am confident I would have bought a different view to the departments success. Nevertheless it was a great opportunity as I had worked in the same department before as Technical Engineering Intern for 7 months in 2017.
Advice
It's a must have experience
Working for a business giant who has been in the world of innovation since 1886 does have tricks up its sleeve as they know how to teach and put an learning student to test.
