I liked getting hands on experience with patients and working side by side with nurses.

I ended up working on the Covid 19 floor and would have preferred a different unit.

I recommend working with who you are applying with the find the perfect unit for you

With the recent changes in management, this was a poor internship experience, and can lead to burnout in staff. However, there is a good team of staff and leadership.

What I liked
I love that they had plenty of opportunities so I was able to pick one that fit my schedule perfectly. Also, all of the staff is very friendly.
What I wish was different
Sometimes during my shifts it gets very slow and there is nothing for me to do except for walking the unit.
