Rogue Mountain LLC is a type of small nontraditional private equity firm known as a search fund. We are an investment vehicle through which investors financially support an entrepreneur's effort to locate, acquire, manage and grow a privately held company. Unlike a traditional private equity firm, whose principals typically purchase a number of businesses and hire operators to run them before flipping them for a profit, Rogue Mountain will acquire just one business, operate it upon acquisition, and run the business for the long haul.
