It was really helpful to get that kind of experience to see what it would be like to work as a zookeeper as a future job. And it was interesting to see how they did things and their schedule.
What I wish was different
I stayed in one area the whole time but it would've been cool to get experience in all the different areas (animal areas).
Advice
I would recommend looking into interning at a zoo if you can if you have even thought about working in zoo in the future.
