I liked how much downtime and independence they gave me. I also liked that it pushed me out of my comfort zone and it made me feel that I was doing something important. You literally got to sit in a truck until they tell you to blow stuff up.
What I wish was different
It was hot but it can't be helped we live in Mississippi. Some of the things you had to unload out of the truck were very heavy but then again I have no upper body strength.
Advice
I will never forget this experience and I will always remember it as a positive experience. Its a very low key job and you can actually have another job on top of it but definitely keep in mind that you are human and really need sleep.
