What I liked

I loved the office environment at RxSense and the opportunity I had to hear the experiences and advice of employees who were so willing to share. I was able to interact with a range of employees across parts of the company and years of experience. These interactions and personal connections made the experience.

What I wish was different

I wish that I had gotten a bit more of a specific look into what people actually did in their jobs, sometimes pharmacy benefits and cloud based solutions became a little abstract! I think working closer within departments that were interesting to interns would have been a good way to get a more tangible feel of the work.

Advice

I would say don't value one thing over another in this experience. Friendships with fellow interns are just as important as learning to network, doing research, and presenting. Being open to hear what all different departments do even if you already have an idea of what role would suit you best in the future is very important for developing understanding and respect for how a company functions as a whole.
