What I liked
Any library is like a second home to me, so working at the Foster City Library didn't feel like work. I had so much fun coming up with my own activities to lead, helping with the Summer Learning Program, and in general, fostering an educated community. Even when my shift ended, I wanted to stay and keep on working. I've been thinking of becoming a librarian since sophomore year, and this internship definitely showed me what it's like and how much fun it can be.
