I loved being able to work with an amazing team of people and grow my skills as a leader.

What I wish was different

I wish I had been able to get through the job training process faster so that I could have had more of a handle on my position earlier on.

Advice

Working with people can be really frustrating but it's also really rewarding. Saxbys is an amazing employer if you thrive in a positive work environment with challenging projects. I felt supported while with Saxbys, but also not coddled. It was an opportunity that I needed to grow as a student and as a person.

Team Leads need more support from HQ.

Being a barista is fun, but if you have the opportunity to be a Team Lead, make sure you know your limits.
