What I liked
I loved working with SSN because I completely stand by the mission statement of the company and what they are trying to accomplish! The work culture was great and all of my coworkers were enthusiastic, motivated, and very friendly. I liked the small team atmosphere because I felt like my work was really appreciated and I was able to make a bigger impact with them than would have been possible at a massive Fortune 500 company.
What I wish was different
I think as a bi-product of the company being so new and rapidly expanding given today's political climate, the company overall has a few struggles with organization and planning. Certainly something they are working on and trying to manage, but I do almost wish I had joined them a little later in their journey when they had more of the kinks ironed out.
Advice
Since the company is so small I would definitely say that advise people that want to work there need to be self-starters! Everyone there cares a lot about what SSN is trying to do, and in a small relatively new company it is really easy to introduce your own ideas and move forward with them. Definitely make sure that you care about the work being done because projects are certainly something you can and will have to figure out and plan on your own!
