I like that I am doing meaningful work as a volunteer. The nearest tutoring site is 40 mins away from me but I tutored once a week nonetheless, since it is something I feel passionate to do.
What I wish was different
The students often exit the program due to changing circumstances. I wish I could have established long-term mentorship relationships with my students.
Advice
Patience is needed in order to enjoy this volunteering role.
