I liked figuring out how students thought and analyzing their individual weaknesses. Working to help them overcome their specific weak points and helping them self-develop was really fulfilling for me.
What I wish was different
I think I wish I had been even more invested into doing something with my tutoring career. I did pretty good, enjoyed it, and made decent money. Perhaps, I should have pursued it more.
Advice
I think it's really important to know that a mentor mindset is crucial for the development of those around you. Simply being good at the subject doesn't mean much, you should be able to teach others well and actually help them gain a better understanding of the subject instead of showing how much you yourself understand.
