I like that both attorneys and the risk manager were approachable. I also enjoyed learning how to properly format memo and perform legal research. Furthermore, I enjoyed being included in meetings and that they sought my opinion. I felt like a team member and not just an intern.
What I wish was different
I wish I had initially started my internship experience with the school and this department.
Advice
It's invaluable! Making the career transition from the world of Training into the Legal world is only possible through obtaining my degree and having been afforded this internship opportunity. The resources and knowledge the Legal team and Risk manager have provided have broaden my understanding, but opened my eyes to the different avenues and opportunities that will be offered in the Legal world!

Take a chance and apply for things you're not positive you'll get and don't be afraid to reach out and get to know people you work with. It's hard for an introvert like myself but the experiences make it worth it.

Assistant Test Administrator
April 2019 • Sanford, FL
What I liked
The most rewarding aspect of this job is being able to share in with the happiness of the students and candidates when they pass their examinations, the testing center plays a key-role in making sure these students are adequately prepared for classes. It is always an enriching experience.
What I wish was different
Although independent training may be effective for some individuals, I believe that group training or one on one training with other employees will be highly effective as well. In addition to that, getting hands on practice with training would also be very effective.
Advice
Patience and practice is the key in anything you do in life, although the job may seem like it is a lot to remember and grasp at first, it only gets easier with practice, even becoming routine after a while, of course as long as you are still very aware and able to catch on to important things that may arise.
