The Public Authority assists low-income seniors and people with disabilities who have been authorized to receive In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) by the Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS). The program advocates on behalf of both consumers and workers, and provides them with opportunities for training and other support services. We run a Registry that provides lists of pre-screened workers to consumers hiring independent homecare workers (IP's).
