Take initiative on finding tasks for yourself to do, taking ownership of your work is appreciated by your bosses/coworkers. Also, when you go for an interview, make sure that you are genuinely looking for the right fit for yourself, not just the first job offer that comes through the door, or the highest paid position. You'll thank yourself later.
