The employees were willing to sit down with me and teach me about the work they do. They didn’t mind me shadowing them.
What I wish was different
I wish I could intern there when they have a full staff. One of the positions has been open disincentivized September so I didn’t get to learn much about the housing location side of case management.
Advice
Every undergraduate student should work as an intern at least one semester to get hands on experience in their field.
