What I liked

Working outside with a lovely group of kids, I had a nice team (my group leader was great), it's nice that they provide food + transport, even if the food gets tiring after a while and the bus is always late.

What I wish was different

The pay was very low, way below minimum wage. Even though I did get tipped nicely, I made about $1,000 off from what I would've gotten if it was minimum wage. It's hard, because I love the kids, but other camps that are far less expensive than what Shibley costs pay minimum wage, so I don't see why Shibley cannot.

Advice

Learn how to empathize with the kids. I worked with 5 year olds, so you really have to place yourself in their shoes.
