Business Development Coordinator

What I liked

The team was close knit and we worked very well together. We were able to present ideas to each other very easily and we all worked off of each other.

What I wish was different

More transparency and structure in terms of goals and how to reach them. Much of the work done was like treading uncharted territory in terms of how we were going to get sponsors.

Being able to adapt, change plans, and figure out what to do next when things go unexpected or you aren't producing the results you expect is key. Being able to create and pitch presentations well is also great. Japanese knowledge is a plus (definitely not required). Understanding the business model of the cafe, portraying its strong points, and finding new potential ways to innovate or improve upon it is probably paramount.
