What I liked

I had an incredible internship experience at Answering Service Care. The company culture was fantastic and made me feel welcomed and valued as a member of the team. One of the most valuable aspects of this internship was the opportunity to learn and work with new technologies. I feel like I have significantly expanded my skill set and am more well-equipped to take on new challenges in the future. In addition to learning new technical skills, I also had the chance to practice cooperation and teamwork in the working environment. I enjoyed collaborating with my colleagues and learned a lot from them. Finally, I was able to improve my networking and communication skills through various networking events and presentations that were part of the internship. Overall, this internship has been an invaluable learning experience and I am grateful for the opportunity.

What I liked

Welcoming and easy-going environment. I always felt comfortable to ask for help if needed! The company culture was lively and inviting. I was able to connect with ASC (Answering Service Care) employees all throughout the company and not just from employees in the New Jersey office!

What I wish was different

Nothing comes to mind, this company provided experience for me to grow, and they were very flexible and understanding of my full-time student schedule!

Advice

Make the most of it! This is a company that truly values your skills and what you bring to the table. Do not be afraid to offer your opinion or any new and exciting ideas. This is as much of a learning experience for the company as it is for you. So, you really do feel part of the team and a valued member. Looking back, one regret that I have after completing this internship is that I often let my nerves get in the way of speaking up and providing more of my own insight. I know that new experiences are scary, especially if you are young and considering this to be your first internship. Take it from me, step out of your comfort zone and fully immerse yourself into this opportunity and I can assure you, you will not regret it!

What I liked

I loved the individual support given to each intern and the very hands-on work. Also, the team was very supportive and professional. As its name indicates, Answering Service Care, CARES!

What I wish was different

I don't think I would change anything about this internship. ASC is full of wonderful people, and I enjoyed every second of my time here.

Advice

Don’t be afraid if you screw up because that causes you to make more mistakes. Everyone makes them, but it’s how you bounce back that really shows how good of a worker you are.
