I loved the experience I received working real-world scenarios, attending business decision meetings with our partners including NASA, and SpaceX.
What I wish was different
I do wish the location was a little bit closer to home, as I commuted every day 1 hour each way. It was definitely worth the drive!
Advice
I would say to always put yourself out there and apply no matter what you feel or think will happen. I applied for a "finance" intern position and e-mailed them about what I was really interested in (mission operations). Turns out they thought I would be a perfect fit as a flight controller in our mission operations department (my dream job) and they created a position for me! Never say never.
