Sierra Service Project

About Sierra Service Project

SSP is a Christian non-profit organization providing life-changing experiences through acts of service repairing homes and community spaces in rural and urban communities. We invite middle school and high school youth to experience the profound power of serving people who have a culture and life experience different from their own. During our Summer Program each year, approximately 1,500 youth and 400 adult volunteers from 125 churches and 40 paid summer staff live and work together at five different site locations across the Western United States. Together, their work results in over 100 safer, drier and more comfortable homes and community centers.
