I loved taking care of many different patients and I loved the freedom that came with working for an agency. I was allowed to pick my own hours and make my own schedule which resulted in many hours and big paychecks.
What I wish was different
I do wish I had understood what all home care entailed. But now I have learned that I need some more on my feet and go go go! Not sitting in a patients house for eight hours every day doing nothing. Now I know.
Advice
If you are a CNA or want to be a CNA, this may be the best place to start so you can get the experience you need to go to bigger places, but also be able to learn at your own pace without being thrown to the sharks.
