I was given the opportunity to work at a business with a start up mentality, which I really enjoyed. Additionally I gained valuable leadership experience through the different roles I was assigned and people I worked with.
What I wish was different
The internship became quite repetitive over the course of the summer and didn't always match up with the description of the job that was offered.

What I liked
I liked being able to work for a smaller company. This allowed me to work closely with upper level management and gain skills that, at a bigger company, I would not have been able to foster.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have been able to be at an actually office instead of a group of us working out of the living room.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to ask your employer if there is something more you would like to get out of an experience. The worst they can tell you is no!
