This position has really helped my overall credentials. I got to work under an amazing supervisor and with a team who cares for their interns. The organization treats you like a family. As interns, we get to experience different tasks and projects. It was also extremely flexible which allowed me to fully utilize my time and balance my school work. The office is really convenient to get to from the umn campus.

Take matters into your own hands, speak out, and don't wait around for work or instructions to be handed over to you. You will have the power to achieve or slack behind, so take charge.

What I liked
Simpson really has a way to make you feel like you are family. The executive director takes time to get to know you and employees. He is friendly, kind, understanding.
