I really enjoyed the collaborative atmosphere between the teachers and EAs. I also really liked the Monday-Thursday schedule.
What I wish was different
I think that with the number of students attending the program, there should have been more support staff employed. We had 7 teaching faculty amongst 60 students, some who needed more supervision than others. It was a lot to handle.
Advice
This type of job requires patience and grit. It's not easy but it is super rewarding when you get to see your students improve.

I liked that I got to directly interact with students on a daily basis, as well as lead activities in the afternoons.

I wish that there had been more staff for the number of students we had in the summer school program
