What I liked

Slashdot Media gave me the kind of responsibility I was looking for in an intro sales position. I wasn't just put in a narrow role where I did repetitive tasks, I was challenged with real sales goals and held to real KPIs. This position gave me the kind of experience I needed to learn how to sell to real B2B clients and properly close deals.

What I wish was different

I did not like the location when I worked there, it was in a less than nice part of town. But since then they have moved to the middle of Downtown San Diego and the new building is very nice with a lot of good restaurants near by.

Advice

Slashdot media is the perfect opportunity for someone new to the job market looking to cut their teeth at a job that will treat them like an adult and give them real work and responsibility. Employees are given autonomy and everyone's input is considered so long as they have good reasoning to back up their ideas.
