I loved learning about an industry I knew nothing about. I found it very interesting since I had always had an interest in medicine but never pursued it. I was also the only intern in my function, so I got great experience and lots of attention.
What I wish was different
The internship was mostly remote, so more travelling and hands-on activities. Med devices is all about the OR and sales, which I did not get to experience much.
Advice
Be open to applying to industries you ae unfamiliar with. you may find something really interesting you knew nothing about.

What I liked
The experience of going and watching total joints being replaced as well as getting to know surgeons and how the product worked.
What I wish was different
A little more hands-on with me to teach me more about the product.
