The opportunity to learn from different types of leadership skills. You have many departments to learn from and each has there own way of being a leader.
What I wish was different
Talk to a little more people, I did this internship while still in highschool so I didn't get to talk to as many people as I'd hoped for.
Advice
Be prepared to see and do things many don't get to witness. It is a hog production company so there is a lot of see.

What I liked
I love being hands on on the farm and using many aspects on my Animal Science degree daily.
What I wish was different
Assistance in helping grads job search was lacking or unhelpful with my degrees. It was all using my personal network I had built.
Advice
Be open to new experiences and opportunities when looking for a job. I never thought I would be in hog production but I love it.

What I liked
They were willing to work with my schedule. Reasonable pay for the work that I did. I loved working with the animals and making a difference to the company in their performance.
What I wish was different
Nothing.
Advice
Make sure you can get up early to get to work and can handle strong sometimes unpleasant smells. You're working with animals so this should be obvious.
