I liked having a hands-on experience and working closely with the Director of Marketing. I got great experience in the world of corporate marketing, working from home, conference coordinating, and day-to-day activities.
What I wish was different
I wish there would have been other interns I could have connected with over the summer. There were other interns, in the IT department, but we did not get many chances to interact.
Advice
Take that crazy internship offer. There is no such thing as too many job experiences in college. Experiences in fields you didn't think you would be interested in can turn out to be the coolest experience you could have.
