At the beginning of my internship, my supervisor set out for me a series of goals and objectives that he hoped for me achieve by the end of the summer. Each week provided me a specific set of deliverables that I needed to accomplish which were for the most part manageable to achieve by the deadlines.
Being that this was the first internship of my professional career, I had a lot to learn in terms of professionalism in the workplace as well as the business world in general. From appropriate dress to asking insightful questions, I feel like my ability to function in a professional workplace has greatly improved since the beginning of the summer.
