Physical Therapist Aide
May - August 2018 • Plainview, NY
What I liked
The atmosphere was great. The other PT aides were extremely friendly and welcoming, and there was a combined ambition to learn and become better students. The physical therapist was also very knowledgable and had good insights into any questions we posed.
What I wish was different
I wish I had gotten paid, as the internship took over a lot of my summer that could have been spend making money.
Advice
Do not sit and wait for the clock to run out and the internship to be over with. If this is something you see yourself doing, immerse yourself in learning and picking up on certain things that will eventually make you more well equipped to be the best worker you can be.
