Physical Therapy Aide

What I liked

I love being able to work with patients, shadow knowledgeable therapists and work on skills beyond the typical things taught in school such as patient interaction, translating for patients that do not speak English and working cooperatively with the therapists.

What I wish was different

I am currently at this position and I love being able to have a job that allows me to do something that many students only volunteer for. Getting paid and shadowing at the same time are great perks.

Advice

I am continuing to work at SportsCare and am enjoying everything so far, I recommend applying to therapy clinics as a physical therapy aide for interested students as it is a great way to shadow and gain knowledge without needing any prior work experience in the field.
