I love that my job required me to have a person connections with club members and clients hosting events. Understanding how my customers behaved helped me create ads, events, and social media posts for my target market.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have had the internship longer. The golf season ends in November, but I had to return back to college in September.
Advice
Never be afraid to create your own opportunities. During my internship, I tried to go above and beyond to suggested different ideas to my boss. This led to her giving me more responsibilities which helped me learn more about my desired field.
