SRF was a close knit group where everyone in a sub group cared about the success of the others. It felt like I was part of a team and that my teammates wanted me to succeed.
What I wish was different
I wish I had asked more questions right from the get go. I started off the summer just nodding along with what was said instead of asking for clarification right at the start. As the summer went on, I began to ask more questions and learned a lot.
Advice
Ask questions. You don’t learn everything in the classroom but by asking questions as they come up, you will learn a ton and be a better employee. Similarly, ask for help if you need it. Your employer wants you to succeed, so they will love to help.
