My team members were very supportive and encouraging of me; I able to ask questions and learn about not only the human resources industry, but also the hospital industry, and an office setting. I was always kept busy with projects and was given the opportunity to take lead in several projects and daily tasks.
What I wish was different
I would have liked to learn more about the different aspects of human resources aside from the pre-employment and hiring that I mostly did.
Advice
On piece of advice for an experience like this one would be to ask questions and learn as much as possible because human resources knowledge is applicable for one's own job search as well as affording one transferable skills in the workplace.
