My coworkers were all very welcoming and willing to answer all of my questions. I was able to choose my hours and work around classes.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have known how flexible my role was when I started. I came into it thinking I would have a few light news stories. I expressed that I wanted more, and they willingly gave me heavier and additional assignments.
Advice
Talk to everyone there! The more people you are friendly with, the more you will learn.

What I liked
I love my internship at STLPR! The people I work with are so kind and I am given important training that prepares me well for a job after graduation. I am not asked to do menial tasks and instead I am given important projects. I feel well respected, and I can always ask questions when needed. I’d highly recommend the opportunity to intern here.
