I enjoyed learning how to teach a variety of age groups from preschool through sixth grade in a school setting. I was able to apply a lot of what I have learned in my developmental psychology class.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had been able to condense my teaching days into only a few days a week instead of every day of the week.
Advice
I would say that it must be approached with the knowledge that every age group learns differently. Preschoolers must be taught in a way much different from third graders or sixth graders. One must also realize that all students learn at different paces and that some students are rowdier than others.
