What I wish was different
Time to do more! I love my job but I also love volunteering and meeting new people. Remember that although you might be on Summer break take time to volunteer. Most parks have small volunteer groups that help to not only raise money for the park but provide activities for park guests. I am a member of the Friends of Lincoln group but just did not get out there as much as I had hoped.
Advice
Get out there and do what you love. There are many jobs that might pay more but as long as you are enjoying your job and environment stick with it. Always continue to learn if you are not learning you are not growing even if you are close to retirement keep learning and teaching the next generation.
