I enjoyed the fact I was doing research with a known professor. During the spring term, I did an independent study class to get started with the summer research. I enjoyed it was for experience and not pressured into getting good grades.
What I wish was different
I don’t think there is any thing I would have wanted different.
Advice
My advise is to have fun when you do research. Sometimes research can be frustrating but realizing that any research you do is helpful for everyone in that field.

What I liked
I loved serving in the role as a student therapist. I enjoyed working with campers who had Autism. It was amazing to see the difference between the first day and the last day. The campers made some great progress.
What I wish was different
I'm not as interested in the pediatric setting. However, because this is my peds semester I had to experience that placement.
Advice
My advice I would share would be for the next student therapist to have fun with the campers. Sometimes we get caught up in all of the things going on and we forget to enjoy our day as well.
