What I liked

My coworkers, the product, the POS system, even the hours were fine.

What I wish was different

The commute was so incredibly long and draining. I wish I lived closer, but it's something that can't be changed. I also wish the customers were different and I wish the location wasn't so close to Central Park. Again, these are things that cannot really be changed, but alas. I also wish my manager would've been more understanding that I was a student. This semester almost killed me in more ways than one and if he would've just given me a little more leeway with the job I think I would've been saved a lot of grief.

Advice

Don't let people get to you. You know who you are, but they don't. What they think doesn't matter. Also, do what you feel is right - your coworkers don't know everything and are sometimes not the best people.

What I liked

I liked how small the company was because it gave me exposure to all different branches of accounting and finance. All of the people were very kind and helpful as well.

What I wish was different

I wish it was closer to Orange, and that I got paid a little more.

Advice

It's definitely worth the drive because the experience was absolutely worth it. The entire atmosphere of the company is fun and the people there are great.
